Amy's Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Beef thrive on native grass from birth to harvest. Amy and her husband, Todd, have been grass-finishing Angus-crossbred beef for 18 years directly serving local consumers along the Colorado Front Range. Our cattle "finish," in their second year, on high-altitude mountain pastures in western Larimer County. These lands are lush with native grasses, plants, and forbs that provide a nourishing and serene environment. The end result is content cattle that consistently produce great tasting, healthy meat.

Our beef cattle are sourced and hand-selected from two, upstanding, family-owned ranches that raise healthy, hardy animals grown on grass in their rural, native pastures. In winter they are supplemented with hay, to insure a natural forage diet. Humane methods are always used to move the cattle frequently to holistically maintain our lands and waterways that also feed local and migrating wildlife.

We are not USDA certified organic but raise only forage-fed (no grain, no soy, no corn), hormone and antibiotic-free meat. Our tender and deliciously flavored beef is lean and nutritious, providing a distinct flavor that only high-altitude grass-finished cattle produce.

We sell whole, half and quarters of beef. A limited supply of assorted cuts, burger, and organ meats may also be available in early December. The meat is ready for pickup, or delivery can be arranged from October to December. We harvest and process our cattle at a small, custom plant located in Evans, CO where the meat is dry aged for 14–21 days and USDA inspected. Orders can be made by phone, or complete the website order form and mail.

Please visit our website and read what some of our customers have to say!

Arriola Sunshine Farm raises Navajo-Churro Sheep, Bourbon Red turkeys, lettuce, fruits and other produce. We direct market grass-fed Churro lamb to individuals. Our turkeys are sold as live birds only. Contact us to be placed on our list for USDA Navajo Churro lamb, breeding stock or live turkeys. We also offer registered animals, raw fleeces, carded wool, felt and skins.

We are in the business of harvesting solar energy and sequestering carbon with green plants. Our mission is to create healthy land, healthy animals, healthy people, and a healthy economy. Nature guides us as we practice Holistic Management of our resources. Navajo-Churro lamb is lower in fat than commercial breeds. Cool mountain air, healthy soils, clean water, and healthy grass contribute to our unique tender "sweet" flavor.

We do not feed antibiotics or growth hormones to any of our livestock. Navajo-Churro Sheep are resistant to worms and retain natural lambing instincts, requiring less medical care than commercial breeds. We feed hay as needed in the winter. We provide humane care including vaccinations and de-worming as necessary. Our birds and sheep are happy!

B Bar S Ranch is a beef cattle ranching operation with two family-owned Colorado locations in the scenic Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Our high mountain pasture in Nederland, CO has been family owned since 1968 and our high plains ranch south of Elizabeth, CO has been family-owned and operated since 1990.

The beef that we provide will have been fed over the summer on grass in the high mountain pasture. Our cattle are not given any growth hormones or antibiotics. They live healthy lives with exercise, plenty of grass, fresh mountain spring water and open space. We take precautions to never overgraze our land and use a rotational grazing system to keep the feed fresh and loaded with nutrition.

We sell beef to our customers in early September of every year. There is a minimum order of 1/4 of a beef. The best way to order is to split a half with someone you know. We will help you with communicating the specifics to the packer so the meat gets cut and packed to the specifications best for your family needs. Currently we have our beef processed at Arapahoe Packing in Lafayette, CO.

Blue Sage Ranch in Big Horn, WY raises lamb and beef in a natural environment, using low-stress handling and minimal human intervention to provide a wholesome product grown for naturally superior genetics as nature has selected.

Dirty Spur Cattle Company raises pure bred Texas Longhorns. All of our animals are born and raised right here in Highland, Utah and never leave one of our pastures. They are grass fed from the day they are born to the day they are slaughtered, and are never given any hormones or antibiotics.

We process our meat at the only USDA certified slaughter house in Utah County and we deliver our meat right to your home. You can trust that these cows are all-natural, hormone-free and never given anything but grass to eat all the days of their lives.

Our meat is extremely lean and has been tested at 92–98% lean. Thanks to Texas Longhorn beef, today's health-conscious consumer doesn't have to avoid tender juicy steaks. Not only is Longhorn beef leaner than that of other breeds, it is also lower in saturated fats. The flavorful Longhorn beef has less cholesterol and calories than chicken. Definitely good news for a healthy lifestyle!

"Lean beef is good for you – and the key word is lean. Longhorn meat on the average, contains 10 percent less saturated fat than that of other cattle. That puts lean Longhorn beef on par with skinned boneless white meat of chicken and that fact may come as a surprise to many dieticians." —Dr. Joseph Graham, Cardiovascular Surgeon at St. John's Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri.

We sell our beef in quarters, halves and full cows. You can also purchase ground beef from us in any quantity at any time of year. You can read more about the amazing qualities of Texas Longhorn lean meat on our website. We'd love to talk to you more about these amazing animals. Please give us a call.

James Ranch. Three generations of James's and their families welcome the accelerated interest in their grassed-based, organically, locally produced meats, cheese, vegetables & flowers, eggs, and trees. All our products are sustainably grown on the ranch we have stewarded for forty-eight years in the Animas Valley, 10 miles north of Durango, Colorado.

We currently sell 100% grass-fed and finished beef, from Red Angus cows—by the side or by the steak—never away from our supervision until on your grill. Our artisan cheeses are made of raw milk from our Jersey cows raised and milked right on the ranch. We've been making these distinctive cheeses over eight years; they stand alone among Colorado homestead cheeses. Our pastured chickens produce brown & green eggs sought after by our local customers for their outstanding taste. We devote six acres to growing vegetables, flowers, and fruits that defy the imagination and short growing season of our high mountain valley. We don't expect our customers to eat our spruce trees, but recommend these mature, naturally grown, native trees for your landscape needs.

Both our beef herd and dairy herd are completely grass based. All of our animals are raised without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, hormones or antibiotics. We strongly believe in farming and ranching sustainably and improving the land whenever possible. We love to have our customers see what we do and learn of our holistic practices that support the healthy land, crops, animals, and families. During the summer from June thru October we have guided tours two days per week, using an electric cart for ease of transport and enjoyment.

Our products are available at our own Ranch Market (Open M-F, 11:00-6:00, May-Oct. and open Saturdays 1-4:30, during the winter). We also make our products available at the Durango and Telluride Farmer's Markets, regional natural food stores and singular restaurants in the area. The Lazy P Ranch in northern Colorado offers a very unique way to put naturally raised, home-grown beef on the family table. The cattle are born on the ranch and are raised without the use of chemicals, hormones, or antibiotics. The cattle at the Lazy P Ranch are allowed to graze freely with minimal confinement as they are rotated through irrigated pastures. This practice keeps both the cattle and the pasture in top condition at all times by never putting either in a stressful situation.

Families visit the ranch and pick an individual calf that will be tagged with their name. As the animal matures on the grass pasture, it is supplemented with quality, home-grown feed. Families are encouraged to visit the ranch throughout the feeding process and watch as their beef is grown and finished to optimal weight and condition. When a family's animal approaches the end of the feeding process, the family works one on one with the meat processor of their choice to ensure they receive the cuts and package weights that best fit their needs. Since the Lazy P herd is relatively small, each animal is given the best care possible with the emphasis on quality rather than quantity.

At Old Grove Pastured Pork our goal is to offer pork products with the guarantee that your meat was raised in a manner that gives each pig full expression of their "pigness," as Joel Salatin so eloquently describes. This involves rooting in the dirt, socializing, living in a forest and enjoying the sunlight.

The pigs are raised on rotating pasture consisting of a mix of open peach orchard, rows growing alfalfa, and dense shady forest bottomland. The peach orchard does not use pesticides or herbicides. Pasture density is limited to one pig per half acre and is typically much lower.

Old Grove Pasture Raised Pork is raised on a soy-free, corn-free mix of barley, alfalfa, and sunflower seeds supplemented by natural forage from the orchard such as grass and roots.

Investment: Contact us for details. Place a deposit and have a hog ready in approximately 5 months. Price is based on the hanging weight of one whole hog; slaughter and butchery are additional. At the Oswald Cattle Company, we raise our animals at the foot of the Sangre De Cristo mountains, where our cattle harvest the sun. Our goal is to bring you quality beef with great taste and the health benefits that come from eating an all-natural product.

Our animals continually eat from "nature's salad bar," receiving a diet rich in legumes and natural grasses that are converted into a high protein, healthy meal. We use management intensive grazing techniques in an effort to mimic the way nature used to do it, changing pastures frequently, allowing our grass to rest and regrow.

Our calves are born and raised at home, processed locally, and then aged to ensure taste and tenderness. We treat our animals humanely, and do not use chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides on our pastures. We do not treat our grassfat calves with antibiotics, synthetic growth hormones, nor feed animal by-products.

We offer whole carcasses, halves, and split halves. We also offer a variety pack as well as ground beef. Inquiries are welcome. Brochures are available on request.

AVAILABLE IN SPRING 2022 – Pastured Pork!

We knew from the start that we wanted to be different than most, so we started brainstorming and setting our mindsets to becoming a ranch that would stand out and be distinct. The decisions we made then, and are still making today, have had a huge impact on our life, our animals, and our customers.

Currently, we manage 100+ head of cattle that cross-graze approximately 1,900 acres of grassland pastures. We practice regenerative farming and ranching for grass-eating animals. We want to mimic how animals lived in the wild before industrialized ranching took hold. We aim to boost microbial activity, carbon retention and water infiltration in soil. We practice sustainability by implementing managed grazing programs. We rotational graze our beef, chickens, and turkey. We are building wildlife friendly habitats, and bringing in beneficial insects, plants, and different animal species.

We love knowing where our food has come from and how our animals are treated and raised. We take pride in knowing our animals are well cared for and happy. Loved animals equal happy customers.

The future is bright here at Prairie Opal Ranch and we hope you will join us on our journey. We look forward to sharing our fresh products with you.

Sacred Song Farm is a family-owned and operated, beyond-organic ranch situated in the beautiful Mancos Valley. We use permaculture and holistic management to produce the highest quality pastured meats while regenerating the land by responsibly grazing. We feature heritage breed animals selected specifically to succeed in our unique climate. We provide a full range of the highest quality products including 100% grass-fed Beef, non-GMO pastured Pork, and 100% grass-fed Lamb.

Our system for achieving top-quality products is simple: we mimic nature. We see ourselves primarily as a soil-building enterprise. Healthy soils = healthy animals = healthy people. We raise our animals in their most natural, stress-free state, limiting our inputs to sun, water, grass, and animal movement.

100% Grass-Fed Beef. Our cattle are never given anti-biotics, hormones, vaccinations, animal by-products, or grain. They are moved daily to new growth to optimize nutrition, weight gain, and marbling.

Non-GMO Forest-Fed Pork. Our pork comes from Mangalitsa and Kune Kune hogs, breeds that grow well on forage. They are never given anti-biotics, growth hormones, animal by-products, or vaccinations. Their forage diet (grass, acorns, juniper berries, shrubs, and local fruit) is supplemented with a minimal amount of non-GMO corn from our neighbors at Bow & Arrow Foods, and sunflower mash pellets from non-GMO, Colorado-grown sunflowers.

100% Grass-Fed Lamb. Our lambs are all Navajo Churro, a heritage breed that has grazed our Four Corners' landscape since the 16th century. They are prized for their lean meat and light flavor. Our lambs are never given anti-biotics, growth hormones, animal by-products, or vaccinations. We rotate them regularly on diverse pastures for optimal nutrition and land management.

Pastured Protein CSA. We deliver a variety of our meats monthly to the Durango, Dolores, Mancos and Cortez areas to members through our CSA. See our website for more details.

Our meat is available all year long from our farm freezers or delivered.

Sangres Best offers premium grass fed beef with a satisfaction guarantee since 1995. The cattle are never fed antibiotics or ionophores nor do they ever receive artificial hormones of any kind. We handle these cattle with expertise, gentleness and respect. Choose from a multitude of beef packages ranging from 10 pounds to 400 pounds per order of USDA inspected beef, packaged with high tech barrier film insuring long-term freezer protection. We deliver within 250 miles of the ranch for a nominal fee.

Sangres Best Beef cattle graze Music Meadows Ranch, recently conserved via the San Isabel Land Protection Trust. This mountain ranch has been in the Parker family since 1968. The cattle water from streams and ponds and thrive on a buffet of rich grasses on naturally fertilized, irrigated and dry land pastures which build a wonderful flavor profile into the beef.

Discriminating restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area are now serving Sangres Best aka Brandon Natural Beef. Our customers consistently tell us this is the best tasting, most tender beef they have been able to find. We believe it is a combination of forage quality, breed type, humane handling and heavy mature finished condition on the cattle. Each of these factors is critical.

On another note, if you'd like a "no frills - memory rich" vacation, you and your family or friends may come to the ranch as guests, settling into the comfortable ranch house. Then step it up for a horse and cattle adventure, helping tend the cattle. You are also welcome to simply stop in for a visit so we can meet and show you the land and cattle..just give us a heads up so we know you are coming! There is always beef on hand to purchase on site as well.

Sisu Farms raises 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Highland beef, natural pork, and pasture-raised chicken and eggs.

We are passionate about raising happy, healthy animals in a natural way that benefits the environment and provides healthy quality meat and eggs. Our farm uses natural methods with no hormones, no antibiotics, no fertilizers, or chemicals.

Our Highland cattle live on a natural diet of only the fresh grass in the majestic Rocky Mountain Valley. Highland beef is the oldest breed of cattle with many health benefits. Our cattle are on pasture year-round and are a closed herd with no exposure to disease. Calves stay with their mothers for at least 4 months. In winter, Highland cattle use their horns to forage through snow, and we supplement with grass hay.

Our pigs are fed an eclectic diet and have anytime-access to natural forage and plenty of sunshine. The access to sunshine makes the meat richer in micronutrients, particularly fat-soluble vitamins E and D and selenium.

Our pasture-raised chickens eat grass, grains, bugs and scratch around in the dirt, the way nature intended. Pastured poultry are more nutrient-dense specifically in omega 3 fatty acids and vitamins A and E.

Touchstone Angus has been producing all natural grass fed angus beef for over 12 years in Colorado and Wyoming. Our cattle are developed on open pasture and are never fed antibiotics or implanted with hormonal growth stimulants.

Angus cattle are well know for their ability to produce tender well-marbled beef. Tenderness combined with the grass-based diet found on the open ranges of Wyoming and Colorado give Touchstone Grass Fed Beef its distinctive flavor.

Touchstone Grass Fed beef is sold in whole, halves and quarters (half of a half). We make an effort to have beef available year around but most of the beef is ready in the fall.
